| MediaPortal Version: 0.2.3.0 MediaPortal Skin: Default Windows Version: Xp Pro CPU Type: 4800 X2 Memory: 2 Gigs Motherboard: ECS GeForce 6100-M Motherboard Chipset: Motherboard Bios: Video Card: GeForce 6100 Video Card Driver: Newest Sound Card: Realtec HD Remote: MCE Remote TV: 42" Plasma TV - HTPC Connection: VGA Hello everyone, I've been messing with Media Portal for awhile now, and I Love it! But, my only concern is using the green button to start Media Portal. MpTray works, as in, I press the green button, and Media Portal pops up. But, after MP is up, I cannot control it with the remote until I click on media portal with the mouse (like MP is running behind another program). I used MP configure tool, and set it up for MP to always be on top, and to always hide the task bar, yet, I still have this problem. Is this common? And if so, could you help me out please!? Thank you so much, -Nick |

Country: | MPFocus is what you need, will solve, but as i had same problem with Vista, which after reinstalling during some major hardware failure, problem has now gone. so does actually seem to be is caused by something outside MP with the OS.

| That's definitely my problem... cool. But the install instructions are kind of vague for MPFocus. What exactly do I do? Do I just extract the entire .rar file in the MP directory? And after that, which one of the exe's do I put in the startup folder? Thanks again! Also, where is the 'start up' folder at in XP? Thanks. Last edited by nickastaldo; 2007-12-15 at 22:28.
