Need help with Hauppauge IR Blaster & ExpressVu receiver

Synopsis::

I have just set up Mediaportal and updated the guide. I have an Expressvu 6100 Satellite receiver and I can not get the Hauppauge IR blaster (45 button remote) to change the satellite receiver. I have used the channel setup to define some channels as external but it still will not work. I have checked my HCW IR blaster config and I can change the set top box from within the config program. If anyone can detail instruction on how to correct this problem?

Hi,

I had the same problem before. As new to MP I was trying to get my blaster to work. Fortunately, it was easy. If you go to Plugins in MediaPortal Setup, try to find plugin called "Hauppauge IR Blaster". Double click it. Done.

Hope that will work for you.
