Ever since installing MP1 RC1, my mouse pointer is never visible. I can still move it on the screen and buttons will highlight but I can not see the pointer. Kind of like navigating blind. Is this a bug or do I need a setting changed. This is only in fullscreen option, if I change back to windowed mode, pointer is there.
Also have MP set to always on top.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your mouse pointer ist "behind" the window in fullschreen ;-)

I've run mp on secondary screen, and when it start, I've to click on the task bar label for MP, then te pointer is on the window. If the window isn't active the pointer is behind and not visible.

I'm the other way, if mouse pointer appears, it will never go.

This is with mouse just being a hid device, only used to get this if i installed the logitech software for it.

Charli181,

update your my system specs and get rid of the TVE reference

This used to be the case with older 0.2.3 versions. I was happy with that because I could just move the mouse to the outmost of the screens at I could then not see it. I would be happy with that again as a work around

Fixed my problem, All I had to do was in the configuration/General, turn OFF the setting 'MediaPortal Always on Top' and I got my mouse back. Note it also disappeared after inactivity of approx 2seconds as it should and returned back on screen if activated again.

With this setting turned on I can never get the pointer to show at all, no matter what I do.....

Hello all!

I first present my appologies for my bad english, just in case

So i got exactly the same problem but... the same solution doesn't work! I tried a lot of things (2 hours on the subject) but i can't get this f*** pointer to show up in full-screen mode.

The strange thing is that it worked the first launch (i'm a complete newbie with media portal, installed it today) then after a little configuration, the pointer doesn't want to show up again. I uninstalled MP after a while and re-installed it : pointer came back but disappeared again after i configured a bit MP with MP Configuration. So it looks like it comes fromp MP, not some video troubles.

It's exactly the same trouble : you can use your mouse but you can't see the pointer, like it is "behind" MP. Kind of stupid story as long as i see many people crying to have it disappear!

I tried a lot of things, like check then uncheck "always on top", i went to every page of the adavnce menu, but didn't succeed...

If anyone can help, i'll be so happy!

Hello,
I also have exactly the same problem.
At first the mousepointer worked fine, but after I added some radiostations and configured some other things the mousepointer isn't visible anymore.
I tried to solve it for a number of hours but until now I wasn't able to fix it.
