Default Overscan correction?

Windows Version: XP
CPU Type: AMD 3800+
HDD: 160GB
Memory: 512MB
Motherboard:
Motherboard Chipset:
Motherboard Bios:
Video Card: Nvidia 6800
Video Card Driver: newest
TV: Insignia 4/3 HD
TV - HTPC Connection: DVI

I have an offbrad HD TV. It's an Insignia 4/3 High deff TV... so when I play widescreen stuff it puts bars on the top and botton.

While I'm looking at computer stuff, the windows desktop for example, the best resolution for me is 420P, anything else is hard to read. The problem is, my TV overscans. The edges are cut off. Obviously this isnt a problem in Media portal, but in anything else I run (Windows desktop) it's a major problem. I often can't see the "OK" button, etc...

I recently installed Quake2 and I can't see the health bar!

My nvidia drivers have overscan correction, but only while in 720p and 1080I. This does me no good because most software doesnt even use those resolutions. It certainly isn't an option in Quake2! lol

Does anyone have any idea how I can go about correcting this? Thanks!
