as soon as SP3 is out it weill be the required ServicePack to run MP. the "hotfix" from this thread (first post) will be still required and has to be re-registered after SP3 installation, or it will stop working. ![]()

| I am using XP + SP2. I tried different combinations: 1. Install KB896626 only. 2. Run the hotfix in this thread. 3. Install KB896626 + Run hotfix. 4. Install KB896626 and replace the files in safe mode. Always, I can not see PsisDecd.dll in DirectX Diagnostic. And every time when I click my computer in TV Servers, it says: DVB-Hotfix missing! Your system does need MP's requirements! What could be wrong please? If I have only one DVB-S card, do I still need this patch? |

Country: | @yardern i have been talking with the developers. seems like you have simply registered it 2 times in 2 different locations. 1x in system32 1x in the folder where the hotfixfiles are located. check your registry.

however.. you should unpack dvbfix to c:\dvbfix and then run the runme.bat from there.. it will leave the old files in there places but wont use them .. if you want to check .. search for psisdecd.dll in regedit.. and you will see that the location is set to c:\dvbfix (or any other directory you have chosen.. ) Do NOT delete the c:\dvbfix folder or it wont work anymore! Also .. do not delete psisdecd.dll from system32.. or system protection will replace the files (copy them from dllcache) and re-register the old ones.. hope this is clear enough for you ![]()

Followed limpwhizkid's instruction. And I still cannot see PsisDecd.dll in DirectX Diagnostic. And still every time when I click my computer in TV Servers, it says: DVB-Hotfix missing! Your system does need MP's requirements! Must be something else. EDIT: Removed TV-Server, applied hotfix again, installed TV-Server again. still cannot see PsisDecd.dll in DirectX Diagnostic. but TV-Server does not complain any more.
