Country: | I post the issue I have here because think part of the code you guys developed has been already included in the MP / TVE3 SVN's. If I am wrong, please, do not hesitate to move this post out of the thread. The installation: Hauppauge HVR-1300 (Hybrid card that as far as I read on this thread has also owned by some people here). Multiseat environment: 4 PCs, 1 server and client (nvidia codecs), 3 additional clients (MPV + MPA codecs), Satellite STB attached to the TV card of the server (composite). TVE3 / SVN versions: 3 different versions tried since january (17523, 17897, 18463), Card drivers: 3 different versions tried since january: those in cd 4.0, those in package 2.1.25351, and the latest ones included in cd 4.2 The issue: DVB-T channels working fine, analog channels working fine, STB captured channels working fine sometimes. The video part always correct, I lose the audio part when: - Changing from one seat (PC) to another - Shutdown or standby a client PC and strat TV again This happens regardless the client pc I use, therefore I assume ii shouldn't be a codecs issue. What annoys me a lot is that this happens randomly , not always, but after one million night hours of testing the 2 points described are the ones that always happens when the issue appears. While watching STB captured channels in a PC (it doesn't matter which one) and changing channels in a regular use everything is fine!!!The workarround: Once the sound is losen it doesn't matter if I change the STB channel or go to another PC or use VLC (the sound continue missing). The ways I found to restore the sound are: 1.- Restarting the TV Service restores the sound (I guessed it could be because the tv card is re-inited) 2.- Changing the STB captured channel to one analog (scanned with the tuner) and back to the STB ones restores the sound . This does not happen if go to a DVB-T channel and back to the STB captured so I assume the issue is just with the analog part of the card (driver, graph, TVE3 code => I don't know) this is the reason why I think this thread (experienced people with analog cards) could help meI read the TVE3 logs (atached) but I am not able to find out anything clearly bad on them. Maybe an experienced developer....... If anyone requires more information (more logs, etc) please ask it. Apprecaite any idea / suggestion in advance |

Here is a handy tool for enabling/disabling WFP. WFP Setting Tool To use it: 1) Reboot into safe mode. 2) Run the tool and disable WFP. 3) Reboot again into safe mode (to apply the change from step 2) 4) Backup the mpeg...ax and psis...dll (can't remember the exact names but they are the files included in the dvbfix at the start of this thread) files in windows\system32 and the dllcache folder. 5) Copy the patched versions over the top of the old files in both windows\system32 and the dllcache folder. 6) Might not be necessary but copy the runme.bat file to windows\system32 and run it to re-register the dlls. 7) Run the tool again and re-enable WFP. 8) Reboot into normal windows mode. You can then run dxdiag.exe to check to see if the files are correct of course. ![]() | ||

| Portal Member | Is anyone experiencing stability problems running the TV Server for long periods of time with the patch applied? My system has an explorer lockup if it runs for 2-3 days continuously with the TV Server running.
