You need to put this in a safe directory and run the registration file. Do not put it in the Windows\System32 directory where the original is or Windows will replace it after a reboot.
Can anybody help me? What it does it mean to run the registration file?
How do I do this?
Have dowloaded the file and placed in a safe directory but do not understand what is the next step

Just execute (double-click) the included batch file - it is called "runme.bat" .....

Thanks for your reply.
The file does not inlude a BAT file when I follow the link from above. Its only one file called rc2.psisdecd.dll.rar. Is there something I do wrong, or can I get the BAT file from another place?

Thanks in advance

A RAR file is like a batch file. It has a number of files compressed inside it.
You need to download WinRAR and then extract the files in there.

You have to save the rc2.psisdecd.dll.rar file to a local folder, then use a utility like WinRAR to extract the 3 files - psisdecd.dll, mpeg2data.ax and the runme.bat.

Extract those 3 files into your MediaPortal directory, and then execute the "runme.bat" file.

Then you should be in business....

OK, Glad it works. I just realised that I got my words mixed up too. Of course I meant to say "A RAR File is just like a ZIP file..."
