My System

Default

Hi

Every day I am installing the last SVN without problems but from this weekend I did install the SVN dated 13 Jan, I don´t get watch TV and Sat channels.
With the next SVN´s 14 and 15 Jan neither watch TV (black screen)

Do I need to install this patch? is another thing my problem?
Which is?

Thanks

Not sure if this is related to multiple DVB tuners, but I have an issue when changing channels that sometimes it does not change it, but I have to change it back to some other channel and then back to the one I tried before, then it works again.

I have currently set both my cards (Twinhan Cab-CI 2033 Mantis) to record and watching tv, in order to allow recording two channels at the same time. I also have timeshifting enabled

Now my main question is should I configure them somehow else? Like watching only with card1, and recording with both? Or maybe record on card2 only, and watching + timeshifting on card1 only? Recording on only one card is not that big of a problem, just that I have set it to record 5 mins longer than the specified time of programs ending, cause during evening some channels seem to be late of schedule. That causes the tiny problem of sometimes not having the chance to record that 5 mins of extra.

And, if I only have card1 set for viewing, and both cards for recording, does it always select card2 as the first recorder? Just asking cos I would not like my card1 to be busy viewing and recording, and card2 being idle, and me not being able to change the channel I am viewing.

I wonder if my post made any sense

Edit: It seems I need to set both cards for recording, since I have timeshifting enabled, in order to be able to watch a program with timeshifting and recording another, am I right? So maybe the best configuration would indeed be to set card1 for both viewing and recording, and card2 for recording only? Note that I always have timeshifting enabled.

I've recently replaced my analog tuner (PCI) and the DVB-T tuner (USB) for one dual DBV-T (PCI) and I'm wonderting if the information on this post is still valid (it's almost a year old now.) I'm not experiencing any issue, I can record one channel and watch annother just fine, so I'm not willing to fix what doesn't seem to be broken . Is it safe for Windows XP languages other than English?

have not installed this patch since 0.2.0.0, never noticed any ill effects that can be associated.

I think most installers supplied by the TVcard manufacturers, supply any totally neccessary MS fixes anyway.

That should be the reason why it's working fine here. Yesterday Media Portal passed a though wife test: two of her shows that were scheduled at the same time have been recorded perfectly .

Hi I am trying to install a skystar HD parallel to my already installed Cinergy 1200 DVB-S. But I am not able to install BOTH tuner drivers (XP PRO SP2).

I've tried the patch provided here but it did not work. Always get the old version numbers not the one of the newly assigned/replaced files.

???

Thanks for any help

I couldn't use autotune with my Nova Se2 (only 1 tuner!), it always crashed. I executed the batchfile in the archive and now i can perform a full scan.

Thanks!

Default THANX!!!

Hi the patch is working prefect. After I had a lot of issues in the past while using a alphacript light, I followed the recomendation from Infinity Loop and upgraded the Alphacriptlight from the light version to a fuill version. After that the Firmware updates and the latest drivers from Digital Everywhere worked for my FloppyDTV so I decided to go for the TV engine. After the installation I was facing again the bloody "Mediaportal crashes while autotune" but I found this tread and ..surpprise it works :-) Autotuning right now and looking forward to watch TV with the TV Server..hopefully it works :-)

Thx a ot for all of the MEDIAPORTA MEMBERS for that amazing piece of software.. `
