Playing albums with various artists from context music.

Hi,

Am I doing something wrong? In My Music with a Album-view, pressing F9 choosing alternative 4 (Play Now). It works on all albums with one artist, but when trying with an album with more than one artist it doesn't work. Nothing gets played.

Using SVN mediaportal-svn-06-24-2006--01-02.rar.

Have you tried the "Treat tracks in an individual folder as an album" and "Scan albums for Various Artists" options. See Configuratation.exe-->Music-->Music Database.

Note that in order for the "Treat tracks in an individual folder as an album" option to work properly your music collection needs to be reasonably well organized.

Thanks for your answer.

I think my music is well organized, all albums in separate folders under each artist. Artists are sorted in folders A, B, C, D etc based on artist name. I have one folder for all albums with Various Artists. Both "treat as individual album" and "scan for various artists" are used when I scan my music in config-app. I have spent insanley much time to update mp3-tags.

Unfortunately I cannot find any clue in the log file, I guess this is the part:
