Just guessed out of the blind: what happens if you set your database file as "write protected" in win explorer?

Do you know which file(s)?
musicdatabase4.db3 ?

Just tried it for 2 minutes, but it seems to work like a charm.

So old school, so beautiful :-)
If it doesn't mess up anything else I'm satisfied!
