Depending on what kind of card this is read the links below.

Getting your H/W TVCard to be supported, You can help us!
Getting your 'Software Encoding' card to be supported!

Send the results to DMAN, so he can add your card.

Hi,

I send them to DMAN, however I found this in SVN changelog:

MediaPortal TVEngine
On 08/07/2006 [08:19:07] dman_LFC added the following change: anysee E30 (Analogue) support. Requires P4 2.8GHz or better with supported MPEG-2 software encoder installed

I have latest SVN's installed in my MP, but MP can't still find my AnySee. How do I check if I've supported MPEG-2 software encoder installed? If I do not have it, anyidea where to get it free?

Hello.

You aren't alone with your problems with anysee & MP, Emale. I struggled with many issues with the combination quite long time. However, I managed to get it working with 0.200 release and with svn 09 28 2006.

1) You wont EVER make it work with update 0.204, so install only 0.200 & svn mentioned above. If you try to make it work with 0.204 it just crashes all the time when you start scanning or gives the error if you try to do scan manually, something like remote not detected.

When you'll install MP _REMEMBER_ to delete ALL of it before you install it again (if you have tried with different release before).

MP does NOT remove all the files when you try to do it from windows remove programs etc. from control panel. So open the folder list and remove the program directory after you have "removed" it from control panel. You SHOULD get it working with these instructions.... I hope :)

2) Install first the Anysee_E30v152.zip, as it's in www.anysee.fi. I tried several times with only the driver: won't work. And when you install the new Anysee program file, remember to remove the old one before installing as mentioned above.

You can install MP before you install the Anysee program, but you cannot run the setup program before you install new driver which comes along the 152 program.

Oh, and if your driver doesn't automatically update, you need to do it manually from update driver or such thing, the directory within the program package. With older driver MP won't detect anysee.

3) I cannot get the remote to work at all, so if someone knows how to make it work & what are the configurations (and I mean what are those remote configurations, as far as I know it isn't hauppauge ;), but then I have tried all the combinations and still it won't just work), please help me :)

I hope this reply helps and I do hope that someone could help me with the remote issue.
