Problem with AvertMedia USB and MediaPortal

Synopsis::

Hi.
1. whenever I "auto-tune" channels (USA,CableTV,NTSC) the scanning starts at 45,25, however, is USA cable TV frequencies starts at 54,25. Did I configure something wrong?
2. I add a channel manually (55,25 - weather channel#2), however, nothing shows on my preview window.

I am really confuse because I couldn't configure my TV card to work on software from Avermedia (that's where I got my TV card) but I manage to view some channels on Chris-TV lite 4.95..... I run out of ideas... any one can help me????
