Problem with subtitles - freezes MP

Hi

I have a problem with showing subtitles in MP. I have used "directvobsub" for showing subtitles in MP for quite a while now, but recently I have had problems concering that.

Suddenly the movie freezes when showing subtitles. The other problem is, that Im not able to rewind, stop or forward the movie. If I do that, the subtitles will start over again.

Now I am using Media Player Classic for showing subtitles. Here there are no problems with the freezing problem and Im able to forward, stop og rewind the movie and the subtitles are still in sync.

Isn't it possible to integrate Media Player Classic better into MP? It's possible to use Media Player Classic in MP (by checking "use external media player") but as far as I know it will pop-up in a new window, so I really can't use my remote (hauppauge) to control it.

Does anyone have any suggestions about this issue?
