Default Problem with the time after standby

MediaPortal Version: Latest svn build
MediaPortal Skin:
Windows Version: xp
CPU Type: amd 3500+
HDD:
Memory: 1gb

I am having a wierd problem : When i schedule a recording and put mp to sleep, then i doesnt wake up on its own. And when i manualy wake it up (via the remote) i can see that the time in the main window in mp is the same as when i went into standby. Then if i select MyTv then the time is correct.

Does anyone know what i could do to correct this?

And sorry for my lousy english, hope you understand me anyways.

Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin B

With internet disconnected, does MediaPortal or Windows for that matter, update time.

The reason i'm asking, has your motherboard CMOS battery failed, and the time is being updated over the internet.

Let us know, but after testing that and it is ok, then far more info needed from yourself, ie which version of svn and date, latest is not specific enough.

PS. you are using powerscheduler plugin for timed recordings, which does have to be enabled, and left in the home screen to put MP/Windows into standby/hibernate for recordings to take place.

regards

Hi Paranoid.

Now i have tried to disable my netcard and it is exactly the same result.

I have updated my info so that you can see my system.
i have enabled the power management plugin and set it to hibernate (have tried standby too). S3 is enabled in bios.

The way i put it in hibernate mode : From MP main screen i choose the 'turn off' icon and the choose 'hibernate.

I dont know what to do :-( Hope someone can help me make this work.

Please let me know if there is any info you need.

Hi Martin B,

please switch on extensive loging in the powerscheduler plugin and try it again. If you still have the problem please post you MediaPortl.log, that I can have a deeper look at it.

Ok i disabled pvr-scheduler and turned on intensive logging for the power scheduler plugin (thw MP internal one).

And btw imm not using the latest build anymore, downgraded to 0.2.1.0.

I have attached the log,

I scheduled a recording to start at 03.15 - and i did it at around 03.06 and then pu the computer to sleep. At 03.16 t still had not startet så i woke it up.

Hope u can use it now in turning pvr-scheduler back on :-)

Martin B,

thx for posting the log, but version 0.2.1.0 has the old version of powerscheduler. Most of the problems are solved already with the newer version in the SVN.
