But as soon as I try to change the channel to the other card, the screen stays black and I don't get any error message -> Even switching back to the before working card/channel doesn't help, I have to restart Mediaportal. Did anybody encounter the same problem and/or can help me out? Thanks very much in advance mistermoe |

Country: | Have you been using export/import TV channels in TVserver config? Perhaps when you updated to the SVN? If so then you might have a corrupted TV channels setup. The import/export functionality in MP is broken as it becomes confused by channels having the same name on multiple cards. This can lead to all manner of problems. Only thing to do is delete all channels and rescan cards. Best to only do this as a last resort though. So rule out other options first. Kev |

| No I didn't use the export/import feature. I know deleted all channels and rescanned them. Unfortunately the problem is still the same. Even a fresh and clean uninstall and new installation doesn't fix the behaviour :-( I know managed to solve the problem: It seems all was caused by the current Intel mobile graphics driver. After uninstalling it and installing the standard Intel driver for integrated graphics from the board manufacturers support page everything works as expected. The reason I installed the Intel mobile graphics driver was because the resolution of my LCD TV (1366x768) isn't supported by the standard Intel driver. Now the problem with Mediaportal is solved but I don't get the correct resolution working for my LCD :-( Maybe there's someone having similiar issues and can help me setting the correct resolution with the Intel onboard graphics chip (965GM)? Thanks for all your help mistermoe Last edited by mistermoe; 2008-09-02 at 19:29. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
