Default Problems when running MP on secondary display

I'm using Mediaportal's screen selector feature to start MP in fullscreen mode on my secondary display which is 42" Mirai LCD TV.

I've ran into two problems with this setup:

1. Stuttering: TV and video (for example .mkv files) stutter about 3-4 second interval, pause is very quick but it is disturbing. Stuttering is clearly visible if I set DirectX exclusive mode OFF: Every time the picture stutters, tearing occurs. I've tried several x264 and mpeg2 decoders.

2. Artifacts in picture: Blinking bright green artifact (one pixel wide, two pixels high) in the middle of the screen, sometimes another in top-middle of the screen. Artifact(s) is/are not blinking always, but quite often. If I set DirectX exclusive mode OFF this problem is gone, but then I get tearing. And no, these are not dead pixels, because my TV actually has one and it's nothing like same

And finally: If I configure MP to start on my primary display which is Viewsonic 22" TFT both problems are GONE. If I play video files directly with Mediaplayer Classic on my primary or secondary display, no problems at all.

Another weird thing is that sometimes the log file says "Main: DX exclusive mode: False" even if I've enabled it in configuration file.

I was wondering, does anyone know if it is possible to add secondary PCI-E graphic card to non-SLI motherboard, in this case my Asus M2N-E?

And in this way could I "dedicate" secondary card to Mediaportal...

Ok, I found one solution for the 1. stuttering problem: I installed DScaler5 MPEG codecs and changed Mediaportal to use DScaler as a MPEG2 encoder instead of nVidia Purevideo and voila: stuttering is gone.

BUT, now the audio is way out of sync and the picture quality is poor compared to Purevideo.

Any ideas?
