I recently installed purevideo decoder to get some MPEG2 hardware decoding done (which works great btw, very nice hw deinterlacing solution).. but now im getting random MP crashes and i see a ton of purevideo decoder icons in my system try, they all disappear when i try to click on them..

've tried updating my GPU drivers but that didn't make any difference at all, so im guessing this is strictly a dshow issue. (the error look should confirm this)

I'll try some different rendering methods tomorrow to see if that'll make a difference.. does EVR work with purevideo on WINXP??

well i hope i can get this resolved as purevideo is the best thing i've had on my system yet and i'm not going back!

Has anyone else experienced this behavior in the past?

Most people now opt for the Cyberlink version (PowerDVD7) for HW acceleration, as nvidia have not done any updating on Purevideo.

It may actually make this worse with newer drivers.

Dood, your right, it has the stability i need + the same quality/hw decoding as purevideo.

Thanks!
