Default Recommended approac for viewing camera pictures?

How do you guys show your digital pictures on screen?

Using the "tv out" og my camera gives very bad quality of course.

Exiting MP to copy files from dig cam or memory card to "My pictures" is a pain and destroys the illusion of an "embedded" mediaportal.

So, do you setup a memory card reader and tell My pictures to search its drive, or connect the dig cam directly and map its drive letter to a "use folder" in my pictures?

In some ways, having a popup like the current "play CD" "play DVD" would be nice. But it may be defficult deciding whether a memory card or "external drive" (camera) is a pure picture source?

regards
Knut

We use a memory card reader. Its permanently mapped inside MyPictures and you just put the card in the front.
