Hi
Is there any way to change the recordings folder to a network drive. Everytime I do it MP says "Not enough disk space", even if I map the network folder as local drive.
I would really apretiate some help because I'm using gigabit ethernet and have a server with 2tbs of space on it and on My HTPC I have only a 40GB harddrive and I need to copy all my recordings every day manually to free disk space

in theory all you need to do is map the location to your server eg, in windows explorer map say e:\ to a folder on the server for the recordings , then just go into the configuration and go to TV and select the tuner and go configure i think it is from memory can't recall exactly , in there you can select where you want the recordings / timeshifting to go , you should just need to change it to the new mapping eg, e:\ and it should work sweet

Sorry but It still doesn't work. Now that I followed your instructions, when I try to start the tv, Media portal displays the warning: "Unable to start Timeshifting, Unable to add StreamBufferSink filter".

As I said there are no problems with DVBViewer recording on the same network folder but when it comes to Mp: crash or black screen

I'll give the svn version you mentioned a try.

Mfg
