Country: | Hi, this is really strange. I have both cards (350 + 150) and no problems with the recording size. What drivers do you use? I use those from SHSPVR Did you install other TV software? I am really only using the drivers from hauppauge. What are the settings for those drivers? Setup->Television->Cards->Edit Capture-Setup Capture Resolution (sorry, no exact description, i am not at my HTPC currently) Flip |

| Portal Member | Hi Flip, thx for helping out. My old tv card (PCTV Pro) was a software encoder card, so i could select at which size i wanted to record the movies. Since i got the PVR 150 this option is greyed out. There“s nothing i can select. Here“s a screenshot: http://www.hensleys.de/custom/pvr_150_setup1.jpg I“ve installed the latest PVR 150 drivers from the main Hauppauge site: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/suppo...rt_pvr150.html Beside that the only other TV app is WinTV2000 to test the card. In WinTV2000 everything works fine. Recording size is 720x572. Hope this helps out to find the problem, i“ve searched the web and found out that some other users have this problem too. regards _Hensley_ |

Country: | Hi, look also in these settings: Setup->Television->Capture Cards->Edit->Capture card->Device Property Select "Video Capture Device" / "Video Capture Pin" and hit Setup. Usually MP should override those settings, but perhaps there is something wrong. What codecs do you use? Are the channel settings correct for PAL? Setup->Television->TV Channels->Edit->Analog->TV Standard Flip |

| Portal Member | Hi Flip, Hard/Software is attached in my new signature =) Settings checked and i had only the default settings for all channels. Changed that to PAL_B / Germany but still no luck. Recordings still in 576x576. Here are screens from my Hauppauge "Video Capture Device" / "Video Capture Pin" settings. http://www.hensleys.de/custom/pvr_150_setup2.jpg http://www.hensleys.de/custom/pvr_150_setup3.jpg If i edit any of these settings the settings don“t save. When i leave MP setup and get back into it they are the same as before. regards _Hensley_

Country: | I just had a look at my recordings. The oldest one is from September 29th and the newest from tonight (December 6th). If I play them in mp I don't see any problem. But when I play them in Media Player 10, Media Player Classic or BSplayer on my mp machine these programs report a resolution of 576 x 576. If I copy a recorded file to my second computer and play it in the above mentioned programs, the programs report a resolution of 720 x 576. Here one line from the mp capture.log: 06.12.2005 20:56:18 SinkGraphEx: Capturing:720x576 And also a part of the MediaPortal.log when playing that file in my Videos: 06.12.2005 21:18:12 g_Player.OnStarted() D:\My Recordings\PRO 7_blabla_200512062015p5614.dvr-ms media:Recording 06.12.2005 21:18:13 window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUIVideoFiles deinit 06.12.2005 21:18:13 texturemanager:CleanupThumbs() 06.12.2005 21:18:13 Total Memory allocated:4,44 MB 06.12.2005 21:18:13 window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUIVideoFullscreen init 06.12.2005 21:18:13 VMR9Helper: playing->repaint 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: video WxH : 768x576 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: video AR : 768:576 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: screen WxH : 720x576 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: AR type : Zoom 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: PixelRatio : 0,9999999 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: src : (24,0)-(743,576) 06.12.2005 21:18:13 PlaneScene: dst : (0,0)-(720,576) 06.12.2005 21:18:13 VMR9Helper: repaint->playing 53 06.12.2005 21:18:16 VMR9: not active 06.12.2005 21:18:17 goto windowed:True 06.12.2005 21:18:17 g_Player.Process() player stopped... 06.12.2005 21:18:17 g_Player.OnEnded() 06.12.2005 21:18:17 g_Player.Stop() So, why do these programs report the wrong size? Can someone explain that please. :roll: BTW: I'm using cvs builds... mostly the latest... |
