| Hi, I am wanting to use mediaportal as a front end for an old laptop that I am using for just streaming MP3's from a file server. So while all the video playback, PVR etc functionality of mediaportal is cool, I don't want to use it. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice to hide this functionality from the user in the interface. Is there a way of doing this? I had a look at the .xml files for the skin, but could only see a way of removing icons from the simple home page, not the 'normal' one. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Country: | hey there and welcome. The best way to do what you want is to go to the plugins section of the configuration app. Right click on each module you don't want, then select disable. |
