Country: | I just switched to Mediaportal (my first installation) from Dreambox (and several other solutions before that, e.g. VDR). My Mediaportal installation is working great (just took some time to find all information needed to get suspend, Power Scheduler, remote wakeup etc. to work) but I still have one problem that I haven’t been able to solve. One of the best and by me most used functions in VDR or Dreambox is the ability to schedule recordings and start looking at them (from the beginning) while still recording. I guess that it should be possible with Mediaportal but the current recording is not listed under “Recorded TV” until the current scheduled recording is finished. This is pretty annoying since there is no way (I have found) to start looking at a recording until it is finished! I have found at least one other user that had the same problem (by searching this forum) so I know that I am not alone. Anyone knows the reason for this behavior and if there is a “fix”? Country: | Hi, you are searching at the wrong place. ![]() Just go into the "Scheduled" section and hit OK on the entry of the current running recording. You will be asked, if you want to see it from the beginning. Or just start My TV. Switch to the channel, where your recording runs and skip back (or rewind) to the beginning. HTH, Flip. |

This works, I am able to enter the channel and skip back to the beginning (and finally start watching from the beginning while still recording).

If so this should be changed. For single recordings it works like I described above. Thanks for reporting back. Flip.
