Screen saver?

I have a interesting problem with rc4. After about 20 minutes of watching a video the screen goes black. If I press a button on the remote it pops right back up as if nothing happened. Sounds like I have the screen saver turned on.

I have the screen saver off in all 3 spots on the system. Its turned off in windows, in the builtin configuration on MP, and in the Setup program its turned off.

Not a show stopper problem but enough to get a few swear words after me. Esp. after the screen went black right in the middle of the big butt kicking in Doom.

Did you check in setup for powersaving?
Turn of monitor after 20min...

That was it. The system would turn the monitor off after 20 mins. I have no clue how it got turn on. I've watched 1 hour shows before with no problem.

This is probably not the cause, but have you checked the BIOS as well?

Does the screen go black when you are watching a movie in WMP as well?

Also, when the screen saver turns on, check the MP log to see if there is an entry that would indicate it was caused by MP.
