Select channel by index?

Hi Everyone,

I've searched the forums but can't find any info on the recent option "Select channel by index" added to the CVS version MP config.

My guess is that it enables the choice between logical channel numbering an numbering based on the channel index in the database. The reason I'm interested is that I'd like to use LCN for numbering (e.g. pressing '9' on the remote goes to channel '9') but haven't found a way to do it previously.

I tried disabling this option but found that I couldn't change channel at all. Can anyone help explain what this option does and why it doesn't appear to be working?

Looked through my installation of RC0.2 and didn't find the option you mentioned, but when I press e.g. "1" and "2" on my remote, MP switches to TV channel 12. This works for me like a charm.

It's in the configuration not in MP itself.
