Server 2008, problem not with tv card, posting allowed?

In MP requirements, it says server 2008 is unsupported due to problems with tv-cards (quote requirements below).

However, I'm using 2008 as a *client*, with no tv-cards in the client machine (tv server runs on vista ultimate). Does lack of needed windows updates for tv-cards still invalidate 2008 support for MP as a streaming client?

The question is, I have a bugreport, should I go ahead and post it, or will it just be seen as wasting dev's time.

NOTE: for many of the following fields, the client setup is mentioned first, then the server.

NOTE: there really should be separate profile fields for *at least* separate server and client machine, preferrably for several client machines. We have 4 different clients in the house... and no way am I going to edit my profile for each bug report.
