Default several questions

Hi everyone. It's my first post ever

- i downloaded a skin for Media Portal (MP). Where do i install it into?

- when i play a movie the subtitles don't run. All the subtitles are *.sfv and are in the movie folder

- How do i make MP recognize a movie that is split in two files?
"10000 BC part 1"
"10000 BC part 2"
I want MP to recognize they both 2 parts of the same movie and that he should run them one after the other

i guess that's it for now! cheers!

Welcome to the forum, telheiras
1: If it is a zip: Unzip to \skins directory - make sure to reas any "readme"'s though. If MPI: Double click
2: Make sure subtitles are enabled in config. Sub. files must have same name as movie (ie: RAMBO.avi --> RAMBO.srt)
3: If I remember correctly, xxxxxcd1.avi etc. Can't remember if it has to be .cd1.avi, -cd1.avi or all variants

I've unzip the skin into the /skin folder but it isn't appearing on MP. It keeps showing the original Blue Two i think.
The one i download is Blue Two Metal Dark

I've also changed the subtitles from *.sfv to *.srt and they have exactly the same name as the movie file. They keep not being shown... I've tried adding them to the Movie File in MP configuration but the program assumes it is a movie file, so i had to remove them.

When i start MP it shows me the four inicial figures, but they keep circuling around without me doing anything. When i go over them with the mouse cursor they don't respond. The only way for me to make it work is going to the Top bar and clicking there

.sfv is not a subtitle file.

As for the skin, you must enable it in MediaPortal Configuration.

1. Change skin - enter config as stated
2. SFV: SFV
3. Mouse is not a good solution for MP in general, basic homescreen specially
