Skin without animation? Looking for a fast skin...

Hi,

I'm very happy with MediaPortal, but there's one thing that annoys me: MP with blueskin isn't running as fluently as I would like it to run. I know my hardware isn't state of the art.
Are there any skins out there that do not have as much animation as the blueskin has? Just a simple skin... (I don't need all this animated stuff)

Or how can I change some things in blueskin to be static (like the moving EPG text, or the upper control panel)?

Windows Version: Win XP
CPU Type: 1000 MHz
Memory: 1 GB
Video Card: 5200 FX

I believe there's a setting in the Config app under general that enables you to disable animation, should be what you're looking for.

setting FPS and scroll speed lower will reduce cpu load considerably

I already did that.

Besides that, what else can I do? Can I modify the bluetwo skin in a way that the upper controls do not fade out and that epg doesn't scroll.
Or is there a simpler skin out there that I haven't found yet?

Try my SimpleMP skin, it's the fastest skin out there... optimized for slow computers with very simple animations

Only "drawback" for many users is that it is a 4:3 skin.

Of topic: When will we see a 1080P skin?
