Small confusion with MyTV channel assignment...

I am a bit confused with this, so if someone can help...

- In "Capture Cards" item, ok I have the capture card and in AutoTune tab there is a list of channels.

- In "TV Channels" item, there is a tab with ticked and "unlocked" channels, and another tab (named "TV Cards") where there is a different list of "available" and assigned channels...

- In "TV Channel Groups", I understand... but I don't know WHICH of the lists mentioned it uses to give me a choice for me to make my groups...

So we have in fact THREE channel lists. (1) in autotune, (2) in "TV channels/TV channels", (3) in "TV channels/TV cards"... How are this different and interconnected?

My Autotune section under capture cards never lists any channels, it shows a list of countries and then when I scan it tells me how many channels it has found

TV Channels is the main list of channels that is populated aftyer you autotune

TV Cards lists the channels and lets you assign them to different cards, you may not have 2 cards that are exactly the same and certain channels may need to be assigned to a particular card

(and when some dev adds better menu handling, multiple calls to modules and plugins with different options and much better dbase handling, it will be love... ah and a nice 3D front end and inter-module messaging system and...) Don't argue with the founder of Greek Off-Topic Community about taking a thread off-topic. I cannot help it! My webshots album (contains the old version of my HTPC setup too)
