Country: | I have written a plugin that makes use of the comport. for some reason when mediaportal resumes from standby the comm port connection get's closed. this is not a problem however media portal(or c#) thinks it is still open (ie port.isOpen returns true) is there any way for the plugin to tell when mediaportal has resumed from standby like the start() method for when it starts up? i've seen from the log file that media portal knows when it is resuming but is there a way for the pkugin to tell? never mind i found the solution void SystemEvents_PowerModeChanged(object sender, Microsoft.Win32.PowerModeChangedEventArgs e) {} Last edited by boozelclark; 2008-07-04 at 17:49.
