I have tried the following script for delaying mediaportal starting but Im getting an error on line 4 and I dont know why. The file is in that place Dim oShell Set oShell=CreateObject("WScript.Shell") WScript.Sleep 2000 oShell.Run("c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe") Set oShell=Nothing Im using PVR Scheduler (cant get mediaportal to start up with it) and hibernate trigger (which is working fine) |

Country: | That sounds good but what about stopping mediaportal before it hybernates or sleeps? Is that an option as well? I need it to be killed before going into hybernate or sleep otherwise its still going to be a problem. |

Country: | Use the MST Standby tool (google) as it has the option to Stop/Start Mediaportal on resume/suspend... It also has options (in the registry only) to run scripts, etc on suspend and resume. Good luck, Nick Name.

Country: | Thanks for that bit of info Nickname. This MST Standby tool is a godsend. Its now putting the system into S3 state and when bringing it out both tuners work (ones a usb). I havent tested PVR scheduler yet. Im a little worried because the PVR puts it into S1 state and I dont know how that is going to affect MST Standby tool since its the MST standby tool that fixes the usb issue. Ill test it out tomorrow. Big thanks to the developers in Mediaportal, PVR Scheduler and MST Standby. What would we do without you all!!? |
