Startup Problem and TV Server Connection

I've downloaded the RC2 version of the software, and installed it on a dedicated PC running a wireless network connection, in our lounge. System runs a Hauppauge nova t-500 tuner, has 2Gig of memory, and 1TB of storage and has a Fixed IP address.

When the system is switched on, it automatically starts both the TV-Server services and the media portal software. However we alwayds have to manual restart media portal so that it can find the tv-server. I'm guess that when it starts first time the tv-server isn't up and running yet. Is there a standard work around for this.

Second problem is that the tv-server will intermittently lose connection, causing the mediaportal to crash. with just a dialog uyp "TV-Server Connection Lost" restarting media portal cures the problem.

Have a look in Mediaportal config program under General - Startup Delay.

Thanks I didn't have it in expert mode, so hadn't spotted that.

Anybody any ideas on the other.
