Stop playing when exiting full-screen mode?

Is there anyway to have MediaPortal stop playing a video or TV when you exit full-screen mode?

Fullscreen as in the video is fullscreen or MP is maximised to fullscreen?

If you mean video is fullscreen, just press stop...

I want MP to stop all video/TV automatically when I return to the menu. Is that possible?

No, it wont. Its designed so you can multitask. Youll have to use the stop button.

It sounds like a very simplistic idea for a plugin though.

When I'm watching TV and I hit stop, the video stops for about a second but then starts up again. It works fine when I'm watching a video now. When I'm looking at the GUI with the TV playing in the little box, how do I stop it? Is pause the only option? I'd like to be able to get rid of the box.

go to the tvscreen an uncheck the "tv on" button ?
