Question Stop video on fullscreen exit

Hi there,

Is it possible so that when I exit fullscreen of a video, it stops the video completely.

The reason I want to do this is that I am running a low powered machine and don't want the video thumbnail in the bottom left.

Thanks.

Windows Version: Windows MCE (inc all updates)
Movie Player: External VLC Player Plugin (for every video format)
Remote: Microsoft MCE Remote

Exit the video with a STOP on your remote -- this will not only stop the video stream but will return you to the previous menu. Or mouse up to the CONTROLS and press STOP when you can. Don't HAVE controls -- look in the Config and there's a pickbox under the top menu...

I know you can press stop (and thats what i do), but other users might press the "back" key, so I want it to stop regardless of how you get to the menu.

Thanks.

You can configure the "back" key to stop the video when its in fullscreen mode. so that pressing stop or back will do the same function.

Yeah i had a go at this with the inbuilt MP Media Center remote configuration (the one where you can set conditions...etc...), but i wasn't very successful.

......or did you mean with another plugi/configuration section?
