Stopping current recording locks MP 0.2.1.0 GUI

I've noticed since upgrading to 0.2.1.0 that it is not possible to stop a currently running recording through the Television screen with the button marked "stop recording".

In previous versions (eg 0.2.0.4) this would work by stopping the current recording, and toggle the button to "record now".

In the new version the button does not toggle, and the program continues to record. At this point the MP GUI locks and I need to kill the process with task manager to get control back.
