Stutter during fade of volume bar and after

Hi

In mytv when controlling the volume I get very bad stutter 5-10 secs. after the volumebar has vanished. I'm running a svn version 16660. Anybody seen this before and knows the cause? I have been looking in GUIVolumeBar.cs but I can't find anything related to a hide/transparency animation. What happens after a while when I stop changing the volume and the volume bar hides itself?

Any hint would be great, or anybody experiencing the same phenomenon. Could it be related to this Stuttering TV with PureVideo codec..?
Its not just a minor stutter, as it lasts for 4-5 seconds with really bad performance. I have tried almost all conceiveable combination of codecs, the Nvidia PV is the best overall, but I just have this last annoying thing before its perfect.
