Default Stuttering DVB-C radio - soundcard problem

I use the KNC ONE DVB-C card for TV+Radio. Got the card working but I have issues with the sound when listening to the radio or watching tv with time shifting deactivated.
I've now more or less located the problem, but first my system log:

The problem seems to be related to the professional soundcard RME DIGI96/8 PAD or the soundcard in conjuction with the KNC ONE DVB-C.
Here are the specs of the soundcard:
http://www.rme-audio.com/english/digi96/digi96pa.htm
I use the soundcard with a professional external AD/DA converter:
http://www.sekd.com/product_main/2496s_info.htm
to get a high end sound quality.
The soundcard does not resample - it puts out the digital signal straight to the converter.

Watching DVD / AVIs or listening to MP3s or CDs I do not get the slightest sound problem - only in conjunction with radio or TV.

Using the crappy onboard sound, the radio and tv sound works just fine.

I tried to play around with the PCI latency tool with no luck - the RME soundcard does not even appear in the list of the tool.

What can I do about that now is a good quesion...

I could contact RME about the problem (they already fixed a problem I had with the driver once). But if they are going to do something about this problem is another question...

Would it be possible to make the audio out selectable for Music / Radio / TV like it is possible for Movies & DVD? I then could at least select the RME card for Music / DVD / Movies and the crappy VIA onboard sound for TV / Radio.

Well and maybe I could buy a new Audigy, where I heard that it has a pass through possibility that does not resample the digital signal. The question is if the audigy works with the KNC ONE DVB-C or will cause problems as well.

What should I do now about that problem?
