| I must say I played with codec and it "appears" (didn't have intensive tests) that it works, I'll post my results in one week since I'll be in vacation. |

| Me too. Have used PDVD 6, Purevideo and MPA/V and happens with all of them. Additionally the Wife (big channel surfer), tells me that it happens if she changes channels too often. I don't surf but use the miniguide instead. I'll be happy to investigate in detail if someone can point me in the right direction. Generally speaking hitting pause/play will fix it. Sometimes though the only way is to exit and restart MP. Turning off timeshifting removes the problem but that isn't the purpose of a PVR ![]() Cheers, Arkay. |

Country: | try changing the audio renderer for tv... you have to do it via the mp gui (not config), and go to settings->my tv->audio renderer. when i changed mine over (can't remember what to ) it fixed the stuttering tv problem i had! |

| Portal Member | Hi, I've finally checked the log file (attached), but can't find anything weird. Procedure followed: 1. Perform restart (MP will load automatically) 2. Press LiveTV 3. Watch channel for 5 sec (in window) and assess quality (good) 4. Press the green button --> go home 5. Press Standby (on MCE remote) --> system goes to S3 6. Press Standby again --> system wakes up and shows MP in home screen 7. Press Live TV 8. Watch channel for 5 sec (in window) and assess quality (stuttering) This is resolved if I close down MP and restart MP, which is a bit unpractical. There is no difference watching in window (Live TV) or full screen. |

Country: | It seems as if this can be fixed with pvr-scheduler, since it can start MP before a recording and shut it down afterwards. There are now new versions working with MP 0.2.2.0 or SVN. The only catch is that you have to donate at least 5 euro if you want to try it. http://www.pvr-scheduler.de/ |

Country: | I've been using PVR-Scheduler for some time now, and it's worth every cent you donate. It has allowed me to reliably use my HTPC without having to leave it on all the time . |
