I have a Creative Audigy 4 sound card configured to 5.1 speakers plus sub woofer. If I use another DVD player other than MP, this works absolutely fantastically. However, with MP there is nothing coming out of the sub woofer. All the other speakers work fine.

I am using the MPA and MPV codecs (and tried some of the others available with the same result).

Is anyone able to shed some light on what I need to do?

Thanks

So have i, just tried it with those codecs configured to 3 front and 2 rear and it worked fine.

Make sure that windows audio and sound device properties, are configured in the advanced tab for your speakers.
