Default Subtitle help

Hi all

Couldnt find any info on this one, I have a .avi file that has Subs in Russian and English. I can select the english subs with other players but when I load MP all I get is the Russian Subs? Is there a way to edit the .idx file to select track 2 for English or change the settings in MP.
I have selected English in the MP setup.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sleighty

If you're watching your movie, move the mouse to the lower border of your screen. in the opening osd, you can choose the subtitle you wish with 4th button from the right... well at least in DVD playback it's like this, I think it will be so in avi files as well.

I would also like to be able to do that.

On similar subject, I played an AVI video file that had 2 audio tracks. In MP, the 2 tracks were playing simultaneously (pretty annoying!) but with other players, I could select the one desired. At least, I would expect MP to play only one.

I guess that is something with DIVX format and multiple audio.
