Default Success with AIW 9600 & Terratec T2

With my big surprise I was able to install Mediaportal 0.2 RC2 using an ATI All in Wonder 9600 as analog tuner and a Terratec T2 as DVB-T tuner.

Either the two cards are able to let me view live TV, record and do time shift too.

In order to let Mediaportal see the two receiver I' had to do the following steps.

on the Terratec:
-upgraded the firmware to version 1.13;
- installed the last BDA drivers (2.1.0.20);
- installed the last Cinergy Digital III package (this step probably is not necessary);
- edited the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file as suggested from Terratec.

- On the AIW:
- installed the Omega drivers 5.12
- installed the ATI Mutlimedia Center (v. 9.13).
- setted the video mode to PAL.

Hello!
I want to ask youm what " edited the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file as suggested from Terratec." means? Because I have problems with Cinergy T2 and this maybe helpful.
Thank You.

The file that contains either the BDA drivers either the Cynergy Digital application contains also a txt file for mediaportal configuration.

Take a look inside:

ftp://ftp.terratec.de/Receiver/Ciner...XPx64_3.02.exe

(in fact it's a zip auto-expandable file...)
