Country: | Area: Media Portal Program MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2.0 (2006-12-21) MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo wide Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2) .NET CLR Version: 2.0.50727 DirectX Version: 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c) Audio Codec: MPA Decoder Filter Video Codec: MPV Decoder Filter CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Memory: 511 MB Motherboard: KT400-8235 TV Card Model: wandtv usb stick TV Card Type: DVB TV Card Driver: AF9015 BDA Device, version 6.7.27.1, provider AfaTech Video Card Model: Radeon 9200 Series (128 MB) Video Card Driver: - Video Card Resolution: 1280x720 Video Render Type: VMR9 Audio Card Model: CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device Audio Card Driver: - Synopsis:: I recently installed MP and am thoroughly impressed. I do however have a small problem that I am unable to find an answer to within the Forum regarding installing a TV receiver. When I run setup, it is unable to discover the tuner. I have downloaded GraphEdit and attempted to follow the instructions for setup however, when I attempt to add the BDA receiver component, it is not listed (only BDA MPE Filter and BDA Slip De-Framer). The device does appear in BDA Source Filters as AF9015 BDA Filter. I am therefore unable to create the chain you describe. The filter moniker appears as follows under Source Filter: @device:pnp:\\?\usb#vid_15a4&pid_9016&mi_00#6&2b26 dfa6&0&0000#{71985f48-1ca1-11d3-9cc8-00c04f7971e0}\{9b365890-165f-11d0-a195-0020 I recently borrowed a PCI card DVB-T tuner from a neighbour and it was recognised. I notice there is another thread in the forum regarding the AF9005 filter but I could not rectify the problem. Many thanks for you help |

| I have the same problem as dsw123 does. Edit: My filter moniker moniker reads @device:pnp:\\?\usb#vid_15a4&pid_9015#010101010600 001#{71985f48-1ca1-11d3-9cc8-00c04f7971e0}\{9b365890-165f-11d0-a195-0020afd156e4} and configuration.log shows the following after trying to add a card. 2007-01-04 13:48:58.317938 [Info.][Config Main]: device: id:@device:pnp:\\?\usb#vid_15a4&pid_9015#010101010 600001#{fd0a5af4-b41d-11d2-9c95-00c04f7971e0}\{9b365890-165f-11d0-a195-0020afd156e4} So for some reason the part after 0101010...01#{ differs between moniker and the log. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it's odd. There are some references in registry for both {fd0a5af4-b41.. and {71985f48-1ca. This my latest attempt in capturecarddefinitions.xml ( I copied nebula's bda filter description), i've tried multpile variations with no luck. <capturecard commercialname="AF9015 BDA Device" capturename="AF9015 BDA Filter" devid="vid_15a4&pid_9015"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/> <tv> <interface cat="tunerdevice" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/> <filters> <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="tunerdevice" name="AF9015 BDA Filter" checkdevice="true"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> Could someone please check that and tell if there are some obvious errors/ suggestions what to try? Thank you in advance! -Hear Last edited by hear; 2007-01-05 at 15:50. |

| I also have an AF9015 based card that fails to be detected. (A DVB-T201 manufactured by "August"). I've followed the official instructions: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ge...you-t1573.html So I'm hoping for some kind of response :-) Cheers, Mike |

| Well, following the official instructions (as detailed previously) netted me.... no reply. I can only assume that the page previously quoted is wrong and people should not email in with the card details. I've also tried following the alternate method and like the other posters, that also failed. Anyone else got any ideas? Cheers, Mike |

| Nope, 'Fraid it still doesn't work. 1) Installed DVB-T201 2) Installed Media Portal 2.3.0 RC1 3) Installed latest SVN - MediaPortal-svn--07-16-2007--21-00-Rev15217.exe 4) Run MediaPortal Setup 5) Television->Capture Cards->Add "No Video Capture Cards(s) were found, you won't be able to configure a capture card" Sugggestions? |

Country: | Then your cards moniker is different. Post your capturecard.xml NOT capturecarddefintions.xml. DMAN
