| Portal Member | Has anyone got the DVICO FusionHDTV Dual Digital 2 working with MediaPortal? MediaPortal doesnt detect this card? I was running a Dvico Lite and so yesterday i bought a Dual card checking to see what was compatible before hand but i didnt realise that the card i bought was a V2 until i got home ![]() What do i do from here? Should i try returning the card for something else? Or is there a work around? |

Country: | Well if it isnt supported then you need to add support yourself using the sticky at the top of this forum. First though Id check a CVS build to make sure someone else hasnt already done it. |

Country: | So what version of MP are you using? (some information from you would be very helpful). I'm sure the latest code must have support for this card as I have seen a bit of chatter about it on the forums. Have you tried any of the stable patches? What happens when you try a SVN/CVS? Without any further information your only hope is someone else who is using it and posting their results... |

When it is added to the supported card list, It will work a lot better than version 1, as no usb problems. It should only be a matter of changing a ID, surprised that neither part of the card is recognised, what driver/software comes with it, mines 3.41

| I have never had my cards working right out of the box. The capture card definition has always been slightly wrong on a pin number or two, or an id every time. It is easy enough to build a graph by hand in GraphEdit to get the details for a DVB-T card, though. I could do it in my sleep by now . |

Country: | I bought one last week and it works well for me. I am using a Dvico lite and the dual 2 with the dual 2 as the lower priority cards. I figure the Dual 2 would use slightly higer CPU power, since they are actually two USB tuners mounted directly on a PCI USB card. I have noticed the reception on the Dual 2 seems much stronger. Using the Dvico singal tester I get 67% with the lite and 100% with the Dual 2. There is one issue with the Dual 2 which I haven't looked into too much yet. Sometimes when changing channels I get a black screen. If I go to MyTV and turn the TV button off and on then all is good again. Doesn't happen often so it's been hard to track down the exact cause. Anyone else ever get this with the Dual card? |
