See it tried 4x 'Encoders' and none are found so you get the error there-after.

What is the CyberLink software which came bundled?

finally i have a blurry idea of the diff. between encoder and decoder (-;

this is the software i installed:

Intervideo WinDVD7
-----------------
Cyberlink: Power Cinema 4.0
Cyberlink: Power DVD 6.0

the last two were in the software bundle. there are further the following programms included, wich i didn't install respectivly deinstalled:
Cyberlink Medi@show
Cyberlink PowerDirector
Cyblerink PowerProducer
Musicmatch Jukebox and the 2 mentioned above

i'm not really capable of testing the card with the cyberlink software because i have neither analogue nor DVB-T television and i didn't get the svideo in right in the software. (analouge) radio works well last time i checked.

but this is wiered: i realise that when i try to open something with powerdvd it crashes sometimes... may this have sth. to do with it? i could try reinstall the whole cyberlink package. anyway, the intervideo sw is workinf fine, i'm using it for all the other stuff in MP.

btw: the card works fine with all other applications like VLC (directshow), dscaler, chriTVlight...

ok, i downloaded and installed the Demo from the mainconcept mpeg video encoder and with the software with it works again. but in MP i get again unable to create graph in config and the same prbs in the log:

what exatly does that mean:

DMAN!.... YOU ARE A GOD!!! it's finally working. thank you very much for keep helping me, it's really apreciated. give me your adress so that i can send you some flowers (-;. looks like i have to purchase it since it's just the demo, but still cheaper than buying a new card (-;.

edit: one small issue though - with the DVR-software it works fine, but in mediaportal i got a really dark picture.. any idea why thats the case?

further the live tv is quite choppy. i understand that theres a lot of power recommend for analogue support but at a friend of mine it's working fine with similar specs. (i have a 1,7Ghz centrino notebook with 512ram and ati radeon 9700se). since the centrino clock isn't really one2one with the clockspeed of an P4 i thought this will work smoother... hopefully it wasn't all for nothing )-; ....
