Question Switch system on/off w. hauppauge non-MCE remote

Let me first compliment the guys who made this VERY nice piece of software, needless to say that I'm wild about it.
After a few weeks, I got most of the things running, including the JXMLTV grabber and the web interface.

Now I would like to be able to wake the pc from hibernating and back to sleep with the remote - if possible.
I had the remote control software from Hauppauge running in xp but apparently this is not necessary. Without it, MP works equally well so until there, it's ok.
In the irremote.ini file, I had tried to assign the command to start MP but that brings up an error message.

The system seems to be able to support all 4 of the power-saving modes, so that part is also ok.
Hibernating is configured and does the job in starting up and powering down.
I tried MPTray as well but that plugin seems to be strictly for a MCE remote.

Has anyone an idea on how to get this working?
Thanks a lot!
P.

You cannot wake up the system with the Hauppauge remote. You'd need a USB remote for that (and a mainboard supporting this).

If you wanna use irremote.ini for firing up MP with your remote while XP is running, you have to use short paths in it, so it's not "Program Files", it's "PROGRA~1" and not "Team MediaPortal", but "TEAMME~1". Best do a dir /x on a command line to find out the proper paths.

edit irremote.ini add the following line to the default section
Code:
GRNPOWER={run(c:\progra~1\teamme~1\mediap~1\Mediaportal.exe)}

@mPod: so it doesn't have anything to do whether it's a Hauppauge non-MCE remote?
Can I get a usb receiver for my remote?

@PABLO: thank you for providing the whole line! I had tried something like that but apparently I did something wrong since it was not working.
