Is there anyone who has got Technotrend Common Interface http://www.team-mediaportal.com/news...supported.html to work?
I have tried everything but nothing seems to work.
Fta channels work fine but scrambled does not work.
With TT own software everything works fine.

In logs there is always this line:
Technotrend: service cannot be decoded because the CAM is not ready yet

Do you also have the 'optional CI-Interface available for PayTV reception'?
There is no softcam capability in mediaportal (at least not yet), so if you don't have the CI interface the scambled channels won't work now.

Have you tried, perhaps, sending a PM to Mosquiss?

The page you linked me to says that he was the one who worked on Technotrend CI support, so perhaps seeing if you can get in contact with him would be a good idea.

Yeah right...
And this supported as the say...
I think that do not post those threads (something is working) if they are not tested at all.
Sorry for my negative attitude but I bought this cam/ci only because I tought it will be working...And what do I get...Only fta channels.
I think this is going to be very expensive tryout for me.
Well you don't know everything I have did with so called HTPC...Nothing has worked as they should...
It makes me frustrating...And also my wife is getting crazy of all this ...

Do you have quicktime installed or maybe Itunes because this program and its services caused initialization problems for my CAM. I had to remove it from the pc and then Mediaportal worked without problems.
