Technotrend Common Interface not working

Hi,
I'am also very interested to use CI Option from TT Budget 1500. Can anyone say me what installation I need for MediaPortal and how this work. I have Installed 0.2.0.0 and I can not find any settings about this feature.

There is no configuration option. You cannot go into the CAM menu at the moment with MediaPortal but this is rarely required. Just attach the CI module for the card then insert the CAM and Subscription Card.

Is there any thing I can see if the CI/CAM is successfull found from MediaPortal? I think I need at minimal requirement a descramble button to mark channels to include into descramble process.

Did I need to install additional driver or software updates (outside BDA-Driver)?

The MediaPortal.log will highlight the CI/CAM detection.
No additional updates are required.

Hi everyone.

Im now trying to get the TT budget DVB-C 1500 card to work.

It scans fine and shows all non encrypted channels.

But no encrypted channels working.

It works fine in other media software like MyTheatre and TT'sown program.

I have no quicktime or i-Tunes installed.

Anyone with a good answer - please ?

I have the same pb
Free channels works perfectly but
although the log files shows that CI CAM is recognised and channel descrambled
the screen stays black (or with the last image of free channels) when trying to watch an encrypted channels
log is below
any idea ?
