| Hi all Problem: My wireless network coverage is sometimes dropping beyond usable level and because of this i getting stuttering during video playback. Since this happens for only a few seconds, a caching mechanism mostly solves my problem. What i'm looking for is a read ahead cache option for playing video files with the internal media player. (something similar to the cache option in vlc) Is there something already build in MP ? thanks in advance Slick |

| Shame no-one answered this as its exactly what I want to know. My old Xbox was very good at caching ahead but it has gone to the great digital graveyard so I'm looking at converting an old PC into a Media Center. Can Media Portal (or windows) do cache ahead or is it planned in a future version? Thanks. |
