Default timeshift seems to bring audio/video out of synch

timeshift seems to bring audio/video out of synch

I have the above problem, it's only by some milisecs but still noticable. It doesnt do it always only after a while seems that it gets worser and worser when timeshift is on(still talking milisecs though).

current resolution is to disable thimeshift and reset tvcard(disable tv and enable it again). This brings it in order again.

Hi,

this often is a problem of the used codecs. Which do you use?
I have good results with MPEG2Dec (MPV) and MPEG/AC3/DTS (MPA).

Flip.

Hmm, i've now tried that didnt seem to work.

I've tried these combos:
  • Video :nvidia Audio: nvidia
    Video :nvidia Audio: fddshow
    Video :nvidia Audio: cyberlink
    Video :nvidia Audio: mpeg/AC3/DTS
    Video :mpeg2dec: mpeg/AC3/DTS
    Video :dscaler Audio: mpeg/AC3/DTS
    Video :cyberlink Audio: mpeg/AC3/DTS

The one that's working best is the nvidia/nvidia combo. All the others have same pattern as nvidia one but keeps getting worse. So after 30 mins you can clearly see that audio/video are out of synch. Using nvidia seems to purge the synch problem once in a while.

Any ideas?

reagards Nino

PS seems not only to be after timeshift. Just in general..
