Default turning on monitor > using remote

HI.

I set "turn off monitor: after 10min" in Power Options.

After 10min the monitor powers off. I can get it back on by moving the mouse... but not with the remote (Hauppauge PVR 150).

(The remote still works.. I can hear the button sounds..)

I tried to set some buttons to "move mouse" "press mouse button" etc in the MediaPortal Configuration . but it did not work.

Im sure that this is just a smal problem and you know the solution.
so please help
thx

hm, did anybody understand what i meant?

I want to bring my monitor back on using my remote. When I move the mouse, the monitor comes back to light.

There should be a solution for this problem... (somethig like: when computer recognises remote activity > monitor turns on)

yep, I understand.

There probably needs to be a change made to MediaPortal for this.

I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

When my monitor is turned off (IE, in powersave mode since no activity for a while) I find that the "live TV" and other such buttons don't wake up the display, but using the up/down/lft/right arrow keys on the remote will bring back the screen, since they are just the same as pressing the same keys on the keyboard (using an MS remote here).

Does this not work in your case too?

thank you!

@ Marcusb: no button wakes up the monitor. (but the buttons work. I am able to navigate (with the monitor in sleep state...))
