TV is black

I installed the latest CVS on my system and now I cant get my tv to work. The picture is totaly black. When I press the tv on button it never gets activated. I have a Hauppauge pvr150 tunercard and analog cable tv. If I do an autotune the card finds alot of channels (alot more then I can get actually). Does anyone have any tips & trix I can try? I made a backup of mediaportal so I can go back to my previous cvs but the music section is working so much better in this new build so I'll try just about anything first.

could be a codec issue, which codec do you have selected? (you can select that from the tv settings menu),

What I would try is record a program from the epg end try to play that file from mediaplayer..

Sorry for the faulty post. Will read the stickys beter in the future.
Anyway, I got the tv working after a hard days work so the thread has served its purpose.

Same problem here. I've tried with the last CVS from March 17th and both of March 18th

. I get a black screen in My TV and also playing any recording from there (I do get audio). I've udated the Catalyst driver to 6.3, but no change.

I'll post logs and everything as soon as I can.

Yes, that should help. I had the same problem, I think starting with cvs-03-16. There was a change with the way the value for pixelratio is written to the calibrationxxx_xxx.xml file. Perhaps it helps already to calibrate the screen again in mp without deleting the xml file.

I'm afraid for me, I still have no TV. I deleted the calibration.xml the other day as I was having a similar problem. Previously I had video as black, but there was audio.

After the 18th CVS, I have no tv, no audio "no signal detected" error message and I have tried all codecs, with the same results. MP is now being sluggish in responding again too.

Can you share what you did to get it working. On my installation, myTV is gray out, not black out and I have audio. I have tried various CVS but they are all the same, right from RC3.
